Mercedes immobiliser emulator

Project of Immo Emulator for Mercedes Benz vehicles with CAN WFS (Immo Boxes). Emulator support Mercedes Sprinter, A-Class, ML, Vito and other MB cars with CR1 and CR2 Engine Control Units. Can be useful in case of damaged immobiliser, the car key etc.

Schematic diagram is identical for CR1 and CR2 ECU's. The differences are only in frequency of crystal oscillator and content of Attiny. Frequency of crystal oscillator for MB Immo Emulator CR1 is 8MHz, for CR2 is 16MHz. Schematic circuit diagram is simple and does not need any guide. All electronics components are standard and available.

CR2 ECU with 95P08 / 5P08C3 / 35P08 eeprom

Emulator connects to ECU with 4 wire: Power Supply (12V), GND, CAN-H and CAN-L. Connection is simple. Instructions with pictures about connections of MB Immo Emulator to ECU's with can find on a lot of emulators sellers websites. Some connection can find on this website in pinouts section.

The small size of MB immobiliser Emulator allows installation it directly inside the ECU.

NOTE

When editing eeprom, only selected addresses should be modified. All other data must remain original.

In order to properly function recommended is cut-off CAN-L and CAN-H at WFS (immo box).

Note that dump for Attiny and frequency of crystal oscillator for CR1 ECUs are different that CR2 ECUs. These are two separate projects with the same schematic.

Presented project of MB Immo Emulator is tested and working. It has beed used successfully for many years with Mercedes Sprinter, Vito, ML, A-Class with many CR1 and CR2 ECU’s.
